Tornado & Straight-Line Wind Summit

The inaugural summit brought together more than 120 emergency managers, researchers, state agencies, nonprofits, utilities, and community leaders. I supported the event behind the scenes as part of a broader effort to turn wind-hazard knowledge into coordinated action.

Manufactured-home tornado reconnaissance

Following an EF3 tornado, our team documented structural damage, anchoring systems, and soil conditions using LiDAR and forensic methods. The observations connect community-scale damage with the physical load path from the home to its foundation.
